Erasmus

1436-1536

Collected byzantine miniscule Greek text and wrote a parallel Greek/Latin Bible. (1516)  Large based on Minuscule 2  Goal was to have an improved Latin Bible.

William
Tyndale

1494-1536

Translated first English Bible based on Greek and Hebrew texts.  (Only a portion of the old testament was completed.)
